Wanny Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Heading to radium for may long. Seems like there are lots of lakes and the columbia riv but i don't have much knowledge of that area. Anywhere worth while to wet a line for a few hours around there? Quote
Brunsie Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Most of the lakes around there have fish. Whiteswan, Whitetail and Premier have some pretty decent fish. I don't know about the creeks, but I'd check the regs to make sure they're open. I would think that wherever you go it's going to be busy. BK Quote
brownsbask Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 I just found this in my search to answer a similar question. You can add all the stocked lakes/sterams in BC as placemarks in Google Earth. Once added, you can click on any placemark, and it will give you the option to link through to another page, and there you can click on the stocking report. Some lakes also have bathymetry data. Pipestoneflyguy Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Be aware of the extra cost associated with Classified waters which effect much of the moving waters in that area. Can get pretty pricey for us Albertans. Quote
bigbowtrout Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 I know Rickr has a condo up that way and has fished some streams in the area. Maybe send him a PM http://flyfishcalgary.com/board/index.php?showtopic=12370 Quote
