kungfool Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Anyone else get a snow day? Pretty bad roads out here north of the city. Quote
daxlarsen Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 yah after a 15 minute walk through 12"of water and slush, my foreman called and said to pack her up just as we walked on site hahaha so weak. I told him we were already on site and would rather just work than be forced to do dishes at home, and he wasn't having it Quote
skearns Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 made it downtown without much hassle, but just cancelled my first tee time of the year at Glen Eagles tomorrow, don't want to waste a day off so now thinking of checking out some of the streams north of Cochrane but depending on when this storm dies that may be foolish as well...sk Quote
bigbowtrout Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 My drive in from Cochrane was not fun but the line at Tims was a breeze this morning Highway 22 is a mess and so is the 1 and I was hoping to hit some of the streams North of Cochrane on Sunday but with the snow melting I don't see it being steller but I'm going anyway. canadensis Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Snow Day? This is Calgary not Vancouver. Quote
Guest Sundancefisher Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 So long as my white stretch limo can still drive the straight line all the way downtown...nothing stops me! Quote
Hawgstoppah Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 The kids had a snow day today here in cardston. power was out from 9 to 10am then from 11am to about 830PM... my basement was starting to flood too without the sump pump running... memo to me... save up and buy a generator! Got about 2ft of wet heavy snow had to shovel it all away from the house to slow down the flooding... got it under control now.. Quote
