ggp
This is a fly that I got from one of the Sport Fishing On The Fly episodes several years ago, so I have had a chance to fish it a lot. It has proven itself to be a terrific Westslope and Sea Run Cuttie pattern, with a few Bows thrown in as well. Hook----Mustad 37160 size 10 Thread----Black Tag-----Red thread Body----Pheasant Rib----Dun Saddle Hackle Under wing----A few strands of Accent flash Wing----Elk Hackle----Dun Saddle Hackle
kal3
Great job tying that Here are the tying instructions, with video for a slightly different version (probably the fly you saw, but the ingredients from the original differ). http://www.sfotf.ca/fly-tying/2009/7/15/it...spider-fly.html

Guest 420FLYFISHIN
dang, this was my go to fly for a while, thanks for bringing it out in the open j/k. These are killer flies invented by the Italian Fly team.
nebc
I must say that the version presented by ggp seems potentially an improvement.

Mitchell0724
That's a good looking fly, and I agree that ggp improved it great job. Do you skate it or just dead drift it? Kinda looks like an emerger and it kinda looks like an adult... or is it laying eggs
