ggp Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 This is a fly that I got from one of the Sport Fishing On The Fly episodes several years ago, so I have had a chance to fish it a lot. It has proven itself to be a terrific Westslope and Sea Run Cuttie pattern, with a few Bows thrown in as well. kal3 Posted May 25, 2010 Posted May 25, 2010 Great job tying that Here are the tying instructions, with video for a slightly different version (probably the fly you saw, but the ingredients from the original differ). http://www.sfotf.ca/fly-tying/2009/7/15/it...spider-fly.html Quote

Guest 420FLYFISHIN Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 dang, this was my go to fly for a while, thanks for bringing it out in the open j/k. These are killer flies invented by the Italian Fly team. Quote
nebc Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 I must say that the version presented by ggp seems potentially an improvement. Quote
SilverDoctor Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Its a good one, a nice cross between Caddis and Klinkhammer Quote
Mitchell0724 Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 That's a good looking fly, and I agree that ggp improved it great job. Do you skate it or just dead drift it? Kinda looks like an emerger and it kinda looks like an adult... or is it laying eggs Quote
