Bench Mounted Magnifying Glass

Good day to all

 

Can anyone recomend a good bench mounted mag glass (hopefuly without a light) and where I might find one.

 

I need one that is at least 6" if not bigger with a power of at least 6. I do have a 4 power 3" but it is just not big or powerful enough.

Have you checked Michaels or any of the other art stores? Sounds like the type of thing they'd carry. If you wear glasses you might also want to check into the kind that clip over them since they're supposed to provide better depth perception.

I have a McKenzie Bright Light w/Magnifier that I use, I like the light but the magnifier is good as a portable only as it's small. The magnifier I use is on a goose neck with a base which is great. It's about 5" and mad by "Daylight".
