luukesh
Anybody have any experience with it or know if any shops stock it in Calgary? Apparently it breaks down in five years, instead of the normal 500 years.

Slanter
500 years is pretty short if you're talking on geological timescales....
jksnijders
But a pretty long time if you're talking about a half-spool of it kicking around on a stream thanks to some careless jackass..

Guest rickleblanc
I looked into it last spring. At the time, no retailers were carrying it in Canada. I also contacted a couple of line reps, who all said that all mono breaks down in five years, if left in sunlight. The real difference is what they break down into. I'm too cheap, so I never ordered any. If you try it, and you think it's good, reliable line, let me know, please. Rick
