Hi Guys - the FFC board received an e-mail from an official at Fish & Wildlife (SRD) verifying that "the work the volunteer is doing for me (Fish & Wildlife) is legitimate and is being conducted under of the authority of a Fisheries Research Licence, as per the Alberta Fisheries Act." We value tremendously your efforts in protecting the waters that we all fish, however, in this situation we should be offering an "FFC pat on the back" to this particular volunteer. Thanks guys! Fly Fusion Magazine Is Looking For An Account Executive! Description: Fly Fusion Magazine has an opening for an Account Executive to join its dedicated team. The account executive will be responsible for managing relationships with existing advertisers, meeting revenue targets for each of the five issues and establishing new accounts. Qualifications: The perfect candidate will have experience and a proven track record selling print advertising, but most importantly understands fly-fishing culture. You have worked with individual client advertisers and are also knowledgeable about and comfortable presenting to advertising agencies. The successful candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Hi Guys, Both the screening on December 15th as well as the screening on the 26th of January are The International Fly Fishing Film Festival. The TUC bennefit screening (Dec 15th) is the last of the screenings from the 2011 cycle. The screening on the 26th of January is the first of the 2012 cycle which features a completely new line-up of film makers. Tickets for the benefit screening on the 15th are going fast and all proceeds go to a good cause. Grab your tickets soon! Cheers! Chris

The Canadian premier of the International Fly Fishing Film Festival is scheduled for January 26th, 2012 and will be screened in association with the 10th Annual Western Canadian Fly Fishing Exposition at Canyon Meadows Cinema. Tickets will be available in fly shops and through the IF4 Online Box Office on December 16th, 2011. The new line-up of films will be announced mid-December. Last years show in Calgary sold out in less than two weeks so make sure to get your tickets as soon as they become available. See you at the movies!
