  1. I don't believe that our parks are for wildlife refuge, rather a result of the want of the people as they want to go to a nice place and be able to see wild life. I my opion its a balance has to be set, look at the elk problem in banff, i personally feel that you could get a few people to pay big bucks and they would harvest one under the supervision of a park warden (you could charge a lot of money and that would pay the park wardens time) . That said there are Wildlife Refuges where its all about protecting the animals.

  2. 1st the National Park is for ME, that is why they where created in the first place. They are there for people to enjoy and i feel that the park should be run first for the citizen and not the animal or the park. That said what is the reason we go to the park to see nature, wildlife and in my case to fish and camp. I also have a great solution for all those elk, let hunters shoot em you could have a draw tag for the locals that include a small window of time to harvest an animal, and you could charge Americans big bucks to take a trophy home.

  3. I think he should play again. Did his time now back to life, should a criminal not be aloud to work again, same thing

I agree with Sundance, if there is 100% absolute positive that they have there man, hang em. It takes years in texas to have someone go to death row. As it is our system give a thug a hug, best place in the world to be a criminal.

  4. The Calgary airport takes in billions every years on taxes you pay on your ticket that's what pays for it. The transport canada staff that works at the airport although employed by the government gets the pay check from the airport. The security staff is paid by the airport. The Canadian government does not give money to the airports anymore unless there is underlining circumstances.

  5. They are only marking down the items that Wholesale does not carry, IE buck knive bought nice skinning knife on friday, and its 25% off the sticker price on there. They have LOTS of rifles on sale no shotguns unless your left handed. I did not look at fishing gear cause my wife will kill me. One thing i will miss is AMMO out in the open, and short lines at the gun counter, i think ill have a hard time waiting in line at Wholesale may have to go to Bass pro or hit up on the for the stores in red deer when im up for work. It will be missed.

  6. Belive it or not but when you fish 3 or 4 times a week every week all year you tend to run short on flies, plus with all my fishin buddies I always tell them my boxes are open just make sure you leave me with at least one.

I always share my flies cause it brings me great pleasure in seeing people catch fish on my flies, could I charge them for it, sure, but why bother they are my fishin buddies.

I don't always tie that much but its a good average.

I hope your friend buy you beer at the end of a fishing trip.

  7. Dream weaver, by far, you can code by hand if you want and see it grow or do the WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) with it and see the code appear (although i do clean up the code but the newer versions do a cleaner job) Stay away from front page. Did you know that major websites like google, NYtimes, and such are still done in good old notepad that comes with ever windows machine (okay maybe a fancier version but they can be done in notepad even the most fancy of sites)

  8. First, Parking is cake compared to Vancouver and Toronto, Ive done work in both and if you don't get to a parkade before 7:00 you dont park i can always find parking in calgary just cost a fortune good thing work pays for it. I also don't see the point of making a flap over something that has been working for over 2 years now and its much easier than it was before and you can park more cars.

Second have you been to Edmonton, Toronto Hamilton, although a beautiful city i have to say Montreal has alot for garbage. Calgary is not Half bad for a city.

  9. Found a Sage rod laying in the middle of the road on the Livingstone, posted it on this website and after a couple of months with no calls took it into a flyshop to check out if I could get Sage to replace & sent it away. It came in got a call I thought " sweet new Sage RPL 590". Day I went in to pick it up the blank a fellow came in asking if anyone turned in a rod that fell off his vehicle while driving on the Livingstone. I thought damn, but I felt good getting it to the rightfull owner.
