I want to do the weekend hike thi g so stay in the woods. I think ill be buy myself so bear spray just to rest my mind

I was wondering when you hike in the Summer do you bring your waders on top of all your gear or is the water warm enough in this. I'm an east coaster and the water is never really warm enough to walk all day. And is there any prime, yet not your secret places, worth a good old hike to catch a few trout at?

Is there something that I should know about fishing a nymph. Is there different line I should use other then I one that I I will buy. Technique there must be one.

I was thinking of, hard question to answer, some of the base patterns you would use on the bow.

I am new to tying. Well I did it as a kid and now am getting back into it. If you where to set yourself up with basic material for the bow what would you be buying. I do have a few things that my dad set out to me but I want to get a basic stock of what is very commonly used

I bought a tfo lefty kreg pro series rod from bass pro. The guy there was super helpful and informitive. I just need a reel setup and waders and I'm ready to go. Oh ya I got a six weight at nine feet.

is the bass pro shop deal to good to be true. it is a white river 2 piece 5 weight for $30? to good to be true

i would like to spend about 300 give or take on waders and boots. What do you guys think about the cabela's line. I priced them out at 277 for there brand of waders and boots. but have read a few reviews that they leak after a year any truth to that?

Hey there Im new to Calgary and what to get out on the water to try to catch a few nice fish. I still have to get a pair of waders. Which was hoping some one could give me some ideas on a good pair for a good deal. I have a heavy weighted rod i will be looking in getting a five weight once i get a few dollars. is there a combo of flies that i should be tying or going and buying. I can tie a bit but i need practice. Also with buying a rod is there a really good site to explain what to look for in a rod and reel. i was a t a shop yesterday and they have a combo for 220, he also was saying that simms waders was what to buy. the only thing is that the price is a little high for me right now. I know you get what you pay for but i have to be a bit picky right now and it sucks but such is life sometimes.
