Wow. I don't like that at all. Unless we were gonna lose wholesale in some other way we didn't see coming.... I can't say I like this and have to side with ADC here.
It'll be a sad day when all you can find is a big ol' BASS pro shop..... ina province that has no bass...
Island Lake (near Smoky Lake). Search Doc's board for this subject and you might find a post or two confirming they still exist.
Species of 'Undetermined' Status
Smallmouth Bass
Smallmouth bass were stocked into Island Lake (near Smoky Lake) between 1977 and 1984. Until 1989 there was some evidence of natural reproduction. It is not known whether this population is self-sustaining at the present time. However it is presumed there are a few fish left. As this is a non-native species, no special monitoring is planned.

Good story Rick,
and yes, you are blessed, and in fact, so are we all.
Thank the lord.

If you were born in Canada, you're a Canadian.
If you're a French-Canadian, yes your ancestors came from France, but I think in todays context you're a French (speaking) Canadian.
N'est pas?

According to the inside Foreward,

I bought mine at the Fishing Hole a year or two ago, so I don't think it's that rare.

Has anyone who has won a subscription received their copies? as I have yet to see anything since winning a subscription in October. E-mail to Fly Fusion didn't resolve anything.

Don,
I've had good luck with Audiovox, CDM9000
http://www.1800mobiles.com/audcd2.html
I dropped it into 2 different lakes, took the battery out and let it dry. Worked fine. By contrast, I've had 2 or 3 LGs and they crap out on a humid day
Hope that helps.

That same Optio W30 can be bought in Edmonton at Sears & London Drugs for $299.99. And if you purchase it at London Drugs you get $200 worth of coupons for camera accessories + 12 free prints.
Enjoy.

Bullshit boys...look to the Lougheed yrs, this ain't the first time there's been such a hue and cry from Calgary's highrises. The universe is not ending and the Conservatives know damn well that if they don't implement the vast majority of the report they are most likely done as a political force in Alberta. Anyone heard of Social Credit??
Just look to it being phased in over a number of yrs.
Amen Taco,
You are wise beyond your years. Taco for Premier.

Another lesson learned over the years never base a relationship on fly fishing sooner or later she will become better than you, make you look bad in front of all your friends, buy her own (better) gear, meet some guide dump you and move on (just because he knows all the good steelhead runs on the Kispiox). No I'm not bitter, I've moved on, really I have.

5th year ffing,
25-30 days fishing/year
~5 streams + ~20 stillwaters / season
of those 20 stillwaters, 6-10 each year would be new.

As a test, at home I tried pumping my tube up with my 5 gallon air compressor tank that I compressed up to 150 p.s.i,
I had to repressurize the tank 3 times to fill my tube.
