  1. Scadden is a winner. Mine fits in the back of my small car and I plan putting a electric motor on it this year. The frameless construction makes it light and easy to transport.

I have had a more typical pontoon boat and it just didn't have the maneuverability and scadden handles up to class 3 rapids better.

    Enjoy whatever you buy.

Actually most of their boats are rated to class 5 water, not that I'm brave enough to try it. Just nice to know my boat is capable of running water that I wouldn't even consider!

  2. With anything there is always a plus and a minus and pontoons are no exception.

Frameless - lighter, easy to set up, fits in any trunk, there are what they are ie: a 1 man pontoon can only be a 1 man pontoon

Frame types- longer set ups, heavy, will fit in a trunk if you don't mind the lid being open, can be easily modified ie: side by side seating. bimini tops, bigger motors, front steering capabilities. The list goes on.

I suggest go big and with a frame your ability to fish more bodies of water in comfort and safety will out way the minus's.

They are not only 1 man check out the scadden assault xxx they also have a assault xx

  3. I am looking for some campground suggestions. We are leaning towards the interior of Bc but would consider anywhere that has the requirements , that's where it gets tuff.

    Wife and kids requirements

    Lake with beach

Power at site sewer if possible

    Flush toilets and showers

10 hr drive max from Lethbridge closer would be nice. (Diesel prices suck)

    Thanks wayne

  4. I have a scadden framless outlaw assault in its great, you can fish still water in comfort and never worry about tipping in high waves. or you can float any river you have the balls to float as its rated for class 5 whitewater. As far as customizing you can do anything you want, I have a motor mount with a trolling motor and fish finder for lakes as well as 2 scotty glue on mount flyrod holders and a anchor mount. I have not found anything I either wanted or needed that I couldnt put on my boat.

  6. Thanks for the info Wayne.

Do they sell this in Calgary or Edmonton anywhere?

There are a few places that will order them in I think but your best bet is to order directly from them. (that is what I did) that way you can get a better deal they will always sell for quite a bit below the retail price you just need to talk to Dave. When I ordered mine I received it in less than 2 weeks and wasn't even charged gst, duty or brokerage fee's!

Feel free to pm me if you need more info
