  1. Same deal here...Toshiba A70 or A75 models both have this problem. It's a bad solder joint on the DC connector or a bad DC connector itself. When my laptop was under warranty, Toshiba replaced the entire motherboard instead of simply repairing the jack properly. It was replaced 3 times under warranty but it died again two weeks ago. Idiots.

Here are some decent instructions on how to fix it yourself assuming your warranty has expired:

If you do decide to repair it yourself then you can make sure the solder joint is nice and solid to prevent the problem from reoccurring. I also used some epoxy on the jack to make sure it doesn't move and crack the solder joint again.

I used to buy exclusively Toshiba...never again!

  2. Awesome. I've got most of your pick already. Just PM me your picks when you are ready.

    Hi Pac,

Is the scoring system you currently have set up on hockeypools.com set in stone? How do you designate players as an enforcer? With the current scoring system I'd like to designate ALL my players as enforcers. Even Crosby.

Crosby is worth 273 points as a goon but only 241 as a forward.

  3. hells yea brother and get a big graffiti style "bomb" on the back of the hoodies (think we need original "jedi brown") whit the board handle.....thanks for the idea edB ;)

I'd like to see the Fly Fish Calgary version of the Howard Dean Scream on the back...

"Not only are we fishing the Crowsnest, Dave Devlin, we're fishing the Livingstone and the Oldman and the Highwood, and we're fishing the Sheep and then we're fishing the Bow! BEYYYAAHHHH!"

Oh, and I'll order a hoodie, a cap, and a window decal, please. Hoodie should fit Dave pre-divorce.
