Sage Posted June 20, 2017 Share Posted June 20, 2017 Headed out Sunday with my daughter for her first Bow River walk and wade Had our fishing license checked, but not by F&W. A Calgary Police Service zodiac was cruising the river and couple of CPS officers pulled into shore and asked us for our licenses and to show what we had on our line for flies. Did not realize that CPS did this. Always great that licenses and lures/flies are being checked! She caught her first ever fish...a spectacular, feisty 21" Rainbow (measured) who was more than angry!! Great Fathers Day gift to be there for that experience and excitement Then I caught my first sucker.......on a Streamer!!!!! Somehow hooked it just behind the anal fin.
