I'm looking to get the Allen AlphaII for an 8wt bonefish rig, but like you say I don't know anyone that carries them. I'm trying to decide between that and a TFO BVK reel. My reel is the trout 5/7 so i have no experience with the alpha2. Shipping isn't too bad, i remember it being 10 or so dollars. They ship from the US. JUst got the sz 1 trout reel to go on my 3wt BVK, and landed a few Bow River bows and a couple browns in the 18-20in range with no trouble (and considerable delight) Delivery took 10 days - came by mail.
