cheeler Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Down on the Liv yesterday with naviguid- definitely some subsurface action going on but little action on the dries - maybe an off day because of the rain? Didn't see a stonefly until about 5, and it floated right over a deep pool completely unmolested. There were a few dark brown caddis about, and a hatch of mayflies in the afternoon, but the bigger fish were feeding on the bottom. Took some photos of the insect life I did find. Anybody got an ID for the mayfly? Was dark on top and grey underneath. Quote
cheeler Posted July 12, 2009 Author Posted July 12, 2009 Yes, on a golden stonefly nymph, and naviguid had a small baetis nymph that was working for a bit. Quote
