Float Tubes For Pike

Would a float tube work for pike fishing? Just wondering how difficult it may be to land a large pike on a float tube. Or perhaps would you go for one heck of a ride?

I've done lots of pikin' from a tube, but mostly smaller ones, 20-30 inches. Larger than that can be tricky. I'm always scared they are gonna "jaws" me when they get over 40"

Oh sure... Waders, whatever. Kinda get a bit scared for my boys when I have a decent one on and my line is racing directly back to me though. Went for Sturgeon once in a 12 foot aluminum boat, that was a ride for sure..
