skyguy
I went to wholesale, bass pro... what a let down in selection! anybody know of any of the smaller shops with a decent selection? I couldnt believe the lack of styles/sizes... isnt this the start of a new season? I figured there would be a ton of new gear ( wholesale had easily 10 huge racks of vests!) looking for a set of rubber soled boots for under 100...am I dreaming? I saw some water skeeter boots at the fly show that looked real decent and I think they were only$70...any body seen these in a shop? regdunlop
Did you check upstairs at Bass Pro or just the "fly shop". Seems to me like they had quite a few options upstairs close to the hunting section, but I didn't really take a close look.
theiceman2
Naw, the selection upstairs was mostly kiddy waders and cammo neoprene waders with rubber boots built in. Probably country pleasures is the best price and selection of decent waders in town. Not sure what that new shop down south has to offer? You may want to check out the fishin hole, that have alot of good waders that you will not nessassarly pay for the name on, like hodgson ect. Personally I love the Orvis Pro guide's bang for the buck cant get a better wader.
vhawk12
Dude, upstairs at BassPro, there is a whole rack with all the waders they had (including the Simms G4 with zips) + neoprenes, and there were a bunch of wading boots up there too.
