jimbow Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 i have the olympus 770sw. have resolution on highest setting which presumably makes sense or why bother have a camera with that resolution. pics are fine but very large in size for emailing (generally about 1.5mb). is there anyway to shrink the size of them after they are downloaded to the computer? thx, james Quote
Flytyer Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Any photo editing software can down size a photo. Just changing the DPI makes the file smaller while keeping the image size. If you don't have the software you can find free software out there such as this http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php Quote
jimbow Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 d'oh what a homer simpsom move. the software that came with the camera does this. thanks for pointing out what should have been obvious. Quote
