Thanks Dekkard

So Dekkard AKA Jake, took out myself and 420flyfisherman aka Jeremy, out on sunday. We had met earlier this year up in K-country and formed the starts of a good friendship, those of you that know Jake know why.

 

So Jake took us out for the ellusive brown trout, which Jeremy or I haven't had the opportunity to net yet. We were also very excited about the opportunity to be shown great nymphing and streamer skills. In these departments my strategy guide has been bleak. I love dry flys and have had a great year on them so why change..... well you know why.

 

The fishing was not so good but we did see quite a few browns chilling. Had a few hits each and Jake had a couple of good runs. mainly I was happy to expand my fishing armoury, and I like to catch pictures of fish almost as much as I like catching them.
