misterbig Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Was wondering if a guy was to float the bow river, what are the must have fly patterns to carry. M Quote
bhurt Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Depends on what type of fishing you doing? Nymphs, Streamers, and Dry Quote
Guest RedWiggler Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 San Juan Worms - size 6 I prefer Beadhead Nymphs -Prince -Weevil -Copper Johns I find Black works best but get a few colors -Boatmen patterns -any kind of beadhead nymphs really Streamers -Bow River Buggers -Woolly Buggers -Leeches -Clouser Minnows white is a good color for streamers on the Bow. Hopper Droppers are deadly right now Skid Bitches have been really good. Hope this helps, anytime you head out always have a good selection of Nymphs, Streamers & Dries. This is just a few sure fire patterns to use out there. Quote
