Seriously tho',some great pics by everyone in this thread.Makes me wish I had an eye for that scenery shot that doesn't just look like more trees,or just another lake-I envy people like Din; his pics are something else.Look forward to plenty more from y'all. dryfly Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 Just for the "b'ys" from The Rock ... June 2006. First the Gannets of Cape St. Mary's...CLICK HERE. Cape St. Mary's is one of the greatest things I've ever seen anywhere. Amazing! Below are: a puffin from "Bay Bulls"; Elliston on Bonavista; East Coast Trail; a whale fluke and Belles restaurant at Placentia. "The Rock" rocks!! We never saw a moose. .. . . Quote
Brownstone Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 How in the hell did you get that close to a Puffin? or you got some sort of super zoom lens..If you were on the east coast, Moose are not quite as plentiful there as central or the west coast..I took my GF out to Bay Bulls last summer when I went home to see the Birds and Humpbacks, she was kinda nervous that we were chasin somthing bigger than the boat...she did pretty good for a farm girl from Saskatchewan..great pics as always Clive... PS..can i copy that picture of the Puffin? Quote
Brownstone Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 Now I'm ichin' for July 3rd to come to fish the Rock... 1. Lomand River, Gros Morne National Park 2. Stove from Lee Wulff's old cabin (c.1955), Portland Creek 3. Pair of silver bullets... Quote
