Saltbeefjunkie
Hey Folks, I'm heading out of town to the Cardston area for the Canada Day weekend. I'm gonna try to sneak away from the crowd I'm going down with (~40 People!!!) during the days to get in some fishing but don't really know the area. Any reccomendations from the experts on where a guy can get in a few casts and work off a hangover? Also, hit the Bow River south of Rdg 282 (Mckinnon Flats right?) a few nights ago and got drove out of it by the flies! Forgot the fly dope at home and almost got carried off by the buggers. I wish I woulda had the patience to stick it out as I'd imagine the fish would've been active. Paid the price for a rookie mistake I guess!?! Thanks, Johnny From NL
cheeler
Police Outpost lake and Payne lake are nearby - Police has been doing better than Payne lately but it may have changed in the last week or so. For rivers, it's best if you ask Hawgstoppah what the current conditions are.
