  1. Consequently you should also buy the fish dinner at a restaurant of it's choice, swap insurance information and reccommend a counsellor of your choosing. Johnny
  2. Great work buddy. Even better work passing along the skills to the next generation. I think we all have fond memories of being taken out by an uncle/aunt/parent/grandparent and enjoying the firsthand excitement of landing a fish. Down with the hate, life's too short folks. Johnny
  3. I hit the bow and rdge 282 on monday and got chewed to pieces thanks to the lack of wind. Hit the same place with my cousin last night and they were thankfully a lot better courtesy of the breeze. But dousing the ball cap with OFF is mandatory unless you want to get fit for a straight jacket. Absolutely gorgeous night on the river yesterday though. Saw a half dozen deer, lots of birds but unfortunately *no fish*. Still skunked but hopefully not for long. JM
  4. Hey Folks, I'm heading out of town to the Cardston area for the Canada Day weekend. I'm gonna try to sneak away from the crowd I'm going down with (~40 People!!!) during the days to get in some fishing but don't really know the area. Any reccomendations from the experts on where a guy can get in a few casts and work off a hangover? Also, hit the Bow River south of Rdg 282 (Mckinnon Flats right?) a few nights ago and got drove out of it by the flies! Forgot the fly dope at home and almost got carried off by the buggers. I wish I woulda had the patience to stick it out as I'd imagine the fish would've been active. Paid the price for a rookie mistake I guess!?! Thanks, Johnny From NL
