wongrs Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 just got some pictures back from a day trip on the Grand River in Ontario. As I'm digital photo challenged, I've pasted links to the pictures below (the pics were too large to post in the thread - how do i decrease the size in the future?). Anyways, on with the borophyll: http://s84.photobucket.com/albums/k18/wong...nt=IMGP0100.jpg http://s84.photobucket.com/albums/k18/wong...nt=IMGP0099.jpg This guy took on a 14 caddis even though everyone was telling me to use an 18 or 20 caddis (they are real small out there). Did some screening and found out the water there is ultra-fertile. It was a 50-50 mix of hydropsyche and sowbugs and tons of em. I took some underwater video of the released fish as well but putting photos up on the new board was enough of a challenge already. Quote
LynnF Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Nice pics. As someone who is a native of Ontario, I'd just like to say that I'm stunned that such beautiful fish can come from such a shitty province Quote

Hawgstoppah Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Lynn. You've never fished around Nipigon then. You should see the brookies up there. That's god's country for sure..... Though I do agree with you on the southern portion around toronto... Quote
SteveM Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Hey, wongrs! Nice brown, & some awesome pics in your album. Some real trouty looking water, and spectacular rock formations. Wow! Quote
