Guest bigbadbrent Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 The canyon starts a good few km downtsream of the kcountry. No one floats the highwood, other then Kayakers, for good reason. good luck getting anything but a kayak through things like this..and this is only one of a good km or two that is all like this the river is far too small for a driftboat or even a pontoon...at least for a person without a death wish Quote
Hawgstoppah Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 floating the highwood section in anything other than a whitewater raft / kayak, would be taking your life in your own hands. I would recommend doing something else, or doing it whitewater style. Quote
putzer Posted April 13, 2008 Author Posted April 13, 2008 thanks guys. i have fished the highwood, just not this section. i'm certain I won't be buying 4 kayaks, unless of course if they are about $50 each, hahaha Quote
fisher26 Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 There are spots in the canyon that will kill, unless you are an experienced kayaker. Quote
