mwalters Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I'm new to tying & I'm still learning how to deal with materials. I'm trying a Mickey Finn & using mylar piping. Anyone have any tricks for keeping the woven ends under control while I tie them in? Quote

Guest bigbadbrent Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 edit, not the right post, at all...how odd.. sorry Quote
mwalters Posted February 11, 2008 Author Posted February 11, 2008 I was going to use tinsel & ribbing but they didn't have any at the fly shop out here. I didn't want to wait until I went to Calgary next time. The one I got from Dave at the expo used the piping so I thought I'd try it. His looks better but then he was a commercial tyer. I guess I could just ask him about it when I take his tying course later his month. I got a few new pix I'll post for you. Quote
