Shocon Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 I have a pair of Wardell boot-foot waders that I have had for about 15 years. There are no leaks and from my point of view they are as good as new. However my feet seem to have started to grow out of the boots. I'd liek to know if it is possible to convert these to stocking foot waders. Not really in a position to buy new waders that are as good as these have been so any assistance with this would be appreciated. Quote
kritofr Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 You might try talking to Steve Baumner at Spirit West. He might be able to help you out there although I suspect you may be able to purchase a pair of Hodgmans or Redingtons cheaper than “macgyvering” your existing pair 1 Quote
Shocon Posted August 28, 2019 Author Posted August 28, 2019 Thanks for the suggestion - I am trying to contact Steve to see if this can be done. Apparently they replace soft socks so conversion may also be possible. Quote
