lonefisher Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Thats a great article...... to bad about some of the pointless comments some reader felt the need to add though....... I would really like to try that scuba thing in a river some time....... It would be really fun to swim up behind wading anglers in the bow and scare the bejeebus out of them Quote
Guest bigbadbrent Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 I'd snorkel any stream but the bow.....being attacked by magnum condoms is not my idea of fun Quote
jonny5 Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Interesting read. Like the finding that foam indicators spooked the fish more than yarn indicators. I figure that the popular spots on the bow are so heavily nymphed that using a corkie indicator puts the fish down. Quote
Guest bigbadbrent Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 use a white indicator, instead of the normal colors and you'll be fine Quote
LynnF Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Wow....real interesting. Interesting about the smaller flies in faster water...I've always wondered if it was most effective to be fishing a size 16 prince nymph in those fast runs. Now I know. I've always wanted to do what that guy did....really gives you tremendous insight into the life of a fish - as his article proves. Quote
