somereddeerguy Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 In central AB our waters have been quite warm since late may. Normally by this time of year I've put in 30-50 days/evenings on some of our wonderful brown trout streams. After an evening of brown drake fishing and a couple fish slow to revive and to be honest I'm not sure probably made it after the release. I decided to give up fishing these waters until they've come down in temperature (still waiting). With a lot more free time I've spent a little more time out on the cutty waters, but also a couple other hobbies are getting much more time put into them than usual during the summer months. I know for me my guitar is seeing a lot more attention than it usually does during fishing season, as well as finally getting around to setting up a much more elaborate tying station in the garage. Just curious about some hobbies fellow members are putting their times towards during these closures. Quote
northfork Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Really then why did you send me a text message asking if I wanted to fish for brown trout every night this week?? What about those leeches I asked you to tie, there's cash money and beer in it for you!! Quote
