Any recommendations out there on GPS software? Hoping to get something for an Android device that I can use offline. Topo would be awesome, but something that can at least do good trails would suffice.

not sure if it fills your needs, but backcountry navigator is cool. can download the maps and use offline.

Played around with it a bit today. Looks like Backcountry is exactly what I`m after, and seems a reasonable price for offline GPS software. Thanks bigdirty!

 

As for Sygic, it looks like good nav software; little confused about the pricing though... one version was free and another was >$100. Cheers lamponius!
