Parry Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Hit Prairie creek up near RMH, and let me tell you it was cold in the am. Was almost painfull wadding in the morning and almost thought about calling her quits but we stayed. Ended up really staying because it would be the last time you could fish the area for the year and it turned out to be a stunning day in terms of beauty. Was rewarded with a brookie which i found odd as i have never caught a brookie that far downstream before. No browns or rockies which was dissapointing. Anyways enjoy Dustin Quote
trailhead Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 That sure is a nice brookie, good on you for toughing it out, it is definitely the end of it for the year in the foothills. Thanks for the report and pics. Quote
NormanMcLean Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Did you hook the brookie on a dark Stonefly nymph pattern? I didn't fish Prairie as much as I would of liked this year. It still seems like the number of browns is down. Looking forward to Spring 2008! Quote
