Solar Panel Installation On Rv

I am contemplating installing a solar panel on my RV. I have seen the YouTube video where the guy runs the wires down the refrigerator vent etc. Has anybody installed a solar panel? Tips....advice?

How large of panel are you looking at? Canadian Tire currently has a 20W panel on for 1/2 price (around $65). I would also suggest a charge controller so that you do not overcharge your batteries.

I'm looking at a kit that includes 100W panel, charge controller,wires, mounting hardware etc.$250.

That should do the trick and have two deep cell 6 volt batteries I mounted two panels on top of my campers roof and ran the wires down the inside of Fridge vent,I also made mounting brackets out of stainless for the panels and made it so they are tilted forwards to catch more sun rays
