my goodness, this stuff is unreal, pretty much herl, tied up a dozen (need one more haha) great looking boatmen with it, looks sweeeeeet...i encourage everyone to give it a try

i picked up the diamond dub in peacock yesterday for my leeches.

 

i guess it is close enough to the ice. i'm going to tie in the morning. i'll let you know how it goes

The best colour of Diamond dub is the Bronze Olive. If you can find it, you'll really like it.

i like the ice dub too as i find it's easier to work with but the real peacock herl gets slicked up in the water and gets flow-y and looks more like gills under the water (presumably). it also has the iridescent purply look to it which i like.

Ice dubbing in olive brown is very close to it for a substitute if you can't find it.
