SanJuanWorm Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 They're already fished out. I went there today with my GF to get her on a fish. Didnt even see a fish. No one was catching. LOL.....i spent 10 mins there. One guy in the parkin lot said its completely void of fish. Quote
grannyknot Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Heh! You missed the bus by weeks man. I was there two weeks ago and couldn't spot one. I took my girlie to Sibbald. Her first fish ever, a cuttie on the fly. She's already casting better than me. It's funny watching people fish Lorette all day, when you can clearly see there are no fish at all. Quote
Red Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 I was out there on Sunday with my girlfriend too and we did see a fish, except it was dead on the bottom. Anyways I was trying to teach her to cast (she's never fished before) but the wind wouldn't quit so it wasn't too successful. She did manage to get the fly stuck in her hair though. Quote
cdock Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 All those little ponds are pretty much done. Haven't seen anything in a lot of them the last week. Buller looked empty last Sunday, June 10. Quote
grannyknot Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 That's okay, you can bet I've had enough of stocked ponds already. I've been to just about every one around the city in the past 3 weeks, now I'd like to catch some real trout. Quote
