Many of you might already know that Fish Tales is in the midst of a major renovation/expansion. We figured it was time to share the details. We have leased the bay directly west of us in addition to our current space. This addition adds significant room for us to better merchandise products, host courses and seminars, and more. It's a bit of a process to combine two storefronts into one space but here's a brief overview of what's been happening: Most of the work on the new side is complete. On Thursday, October 4 and Friday, October 5 the dividing wall between the two bays was removed. New flooring and paint is going in the "current space" October 10/11/12, 2012. In preparation for the floor installation, we have relocated all of our product into the new side which is making for some extremely cramped quarters. That said, we'll do our best to find what you're after if you need something in the next couple of days. Starting Friday, October 12 we will be putting the shop back together. We are planning our official grand "re-opening" for Saturday, October 20. In the meantime, we are functioning as well as we can throughout the renovations and appreciate everyone's patience and support. Other items we'd like you to know about include: Some great sales- Sage Flight, Vantage, and ZXL rods, select SIMMS merchandise, select Dan Bailey waders and more. New lineup of courses for fall- Rod Building and Fly Tying New Fall Seminar lineup now posted for October 21 through December 2 - Including our annual Fall Spey-O-Rama on Sunday, October 21.
