Brookie Posted September 28, 2012 Share Posted September 28, 2012 I vote that the most fun you can have flyfishing is site fishing lakes for rainbows with a water boatman on the surface. Watching a big rainbow race 20 feet for the boatman is more than exciting. The larger trout are sometimes the most aggressive at this time of year. When they are running wild like that, anything that resembles a boatman/backswimmer is toast. What is special is seeing LARGE fish rocketing out of the water as they chase them from the bottom!
