But I still agree it that it's pricey and you still have to drive all the way there and back and that's not cheap on gas at all. A couple of trips down there a summer is all I'll be doing. As for the rules changing below elko dam I don't think so cause I was down in the spring and fished below that section and still need to buy the classified daily licence. Cheers. FraserN Posted September 28, 2012 Share Posted September 28, 2012 I am really thinking about giving the Elk a try next year. I haven't been there since 1999. Mainly, because the cost is prohibitive.
