chrisbird Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 The Canadian premier of the International Fly Fishing Film Festival is scheduled for January 26th, 2012 and will be screened in association with the 10th Annual Western Canadian Fly Fishing Exposition at Canyon Meadows Cinema. Tickets will be available in fly shops and through the IF4 Online Box Office on December 16th, 2011. The new line-up of films will be announced mid-December. Last years show in Calgary sold out in less than two weeks so make sure to get your tickets as soon as they become available. See you at the movies! Quote

Does anyone know if they will be showing different movies at Canyon Meadows than they will at the Trout Unlimited Benefit in December or is it the same lineup? Just wondering if I need to get tickets for this one as well. Quote

cpraud Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Thanks Andrew, that would be great if they are completely different. The films last year were great, it was definitely worth venturing to the south end of town in the middle of winter for. Also having April Vokey sit a few seats away from you for the evening wasn't too terrible either. Cody Quote
chrisbird Posted November 26, 2011 Author Posted November 26, 2011 Hi Guys, Both the screening on December 15th as well as the screening on the 26th of January are The International Fly Fishing Film Festival. The TUC bennefit screening (Dec 15th) is the last of the screenings from the 2011 cycle. The screening on the 26th of January is the first of the 2012 cycle which features a completely new line-up of film makers. Tickets for the benefit screening on the 15th are going fast and all proceeds go to a good cause. Grab your tickets soon! Cheers! Chris Quote
Gaffer Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Oops, I got confused with the screening that was a couple of weeks ago at the Cardel Theatre. Andrew Quote
