Hawgstoppah Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Bow River Adventures has spots open for Oct 22,23 and 29,30 weekends. The total cost is $400, or $200 for one person based on two people going. You will be fishing with one other person. We can usually find a second person if you'd like to go and have no one to split with. Just let us know your possible dates and we'll do our best to find you a partner for the day. The trip includes deli-style lunches and transportation to/from the meeting place. Expect an early start and a later finish... something like 8AM to 6PM is the norm for my trips at this time of year. You can expect to be fishing nymph or streamer early, and hopefully hopper/dropper style in the afternoon, or dry fly, but as always the good Bow River angler must be very flexible and willing to adapt to the river on each given day. If we get some good cloud cover or even a drizzle we may encounter some good blue wing olive fishing on dry flies. You will be fishing with Brian Peace as your guide on this trip. We can also arrange Crowsnest River or Oldman River walk and wades too, for these dates. This time of year out there the fishing can be very good as they are feasting to fatten up for the winter.. If you are interested in a trip just drop a PM to Hawgstoppah (Dutchie will be away from the Bow River Adventures phone lines on his annual hunt for chrome soon) Thanks, and tight lines Quote

Hawgstoppah Posted October 12, 2011 Author Posted October 12, 2011 Got a person looking for a partner for Crow trip. 22/23 or 29/30 weekends. Pretty fine fishing this time of year if you have never fished it. Rainbows are eating pretty hard in prep for winter. Brian Quote
npauls Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 If I had $200 I would go for a trip with you on the 30th for my bday. I would love to get a broonie from the bow. Quote
