Guest JayVee Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 I've been fly fishing since August with good success but nothing really big...until tonight down at Policeman's. After about an hour of no sign of anything, I was about ready to move on and I caught this guy...about 16" I think: Two casts later and this big boy couldn't resit my BH Prince: I caught 3 in no time, just before dark. I had a good look at the big one on a photo next to my rod and I'm pretty sure it's a 20 incher. I bet at least one of you can tell just from the photo. I've been using dry flies since I started. During the last 3 evenings out, I've been nymphing and I've caught big fish all 3 nights. I don't know guys, I think I'm sold! JayVee Quote
walker1 Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Subsurface will usually get the job done. In a perfect world dry fly would take fish always but, this is not how she goes. Quote
