ÜberFly
I am just finishing painting our house (cedar siding) previously painted with an elastomeric paint (about 10 years ago). Painted with a stain this time... I had to do at least 3 coats as we went darker over lighter and that's what we needed to cover the lighter paint). Now I'm finding in quite a few spots the paint is bubbling (air bubbles)?! What has caused this, and what can I do (pop the bubbles?!)? Will I need to do yet another coat? Thanks in advance. Giovanne
Stain will definitely not penetrate or bond to an elastomeric coating.
