Guest bigbadbrent Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Saw these the other day.. waste of money in my eyes...pretty much all new lines are made with welded loops which are extremely streamlined and considering that 95% of premade leaders are made with loops, might as well go to loop to loop. And even if you don't have a welded loop, you can just take 20 or 30 lb flouroand make a nail knot, then make a loop, then you have a loop to loop connector... Also shows me something that they integrate these into their beginner lines (the SA Mastery Series : Headstart), and not into their true mastery lines (GPX, trout, etc)..if they were so convinced that it would be the new thing, they would have put them on all their lines... Also, they state that they have a higher then 10 lb breaking strength..that's great, what happens when you hit a 30" bully, or 26+ inch trout on the bow, that has all the river behind it..good by leader Quote
