thats a killer! i would put a single green soft hackle at the head but thats just me.

couldnt find my whip finisher so the last bits are kinda bad.... but not too bad for the first flies for 2011.

this 'leech' you have tied is one of the most used flies in BC stillwaters..and I've taken fish in the bow with them time and time again...what size is it..#10 or #12?

I dont think any of us fish for bwos... Are you catching them and using them for bait!!! :masterbaiter:<--poke--<

you should try a different colour ..try claret/black..and both sizes are productive...

I tie something very similar but use a red tungsten bead. It's Deadly in both lakes and streams. I do use the one or 2 wraps of partridge for a collar. I use a short shanked Deiiche size 12 mostly.
