We've been doing a lot of updating over the past few months at TFO Canada and we just wanted to bring everyone into the loop. _______________________________________________________ New Website To begin with, we built a new TFO Canada website from scratch which launched at the beginning of September - templeforkoutfitters.ca. It's filled with new and updated content and loaded with product photos. Free Draw To celebrate the launch of the new site we're giving away a 6wt Axiom this month. There's absolutely no strings attached, so please feel free to visit the site and enter your name into the draw. ________________________________________________________ Lefty Kreh BVK Fly Rod Today we're unveiling the new Lefty Kreh BVK. This rod has been in the making for well over a year now and we're really excited about it. Like our new website, this rod was built from the ground up. It features a new proprietary blend of high modulus fibers as well as new bonding agents and improved durability. It's a fast action rod but it has such superb line feel that it doesn't have a traditional fast action feel (it's kind of hard to explain - go try one and see what we mean). The BVK also has incredible dampening ability. Oh, and it's really light. But don't take our word for it - go cast one yourself. As always, we encourage you to pick one up and compare it to other rods that are currently available. Initially the BVK will be available in a 9'0" 5wt, 6wt, 7wt, and 8wt, and these will hit the market in roughly the first week of October. However, we're getting a limited shipment in sometime next week and Fish Tales here in Calgary should have some on hand by the weekend (Sept. 25th/26th). More models (which are listed on the website) will start hitting stores sometime in November, and we'll let you know as soon as they're available. Pricing on the BVK is going to be less than $300 for the 3wt-8wt models (you read that right... less than $300). Full pricing is available on the website.
