fishfreak Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Ahhh... the shady world of farmer's markets. Most cities run into the same issues, where the big so-called farmer's markets turn into expensive, commercialized places where the owners charge the vendors crazy high rent which gets passed down to the customers. I like Crossroads better than CFM, as it has a more down to earth feel to it. I can get the best cowboy popcorn, perogies, and lamb ribs from there. The produce prices aren't too bad overall. Hopefully the Kingsland Market continues to expand and grow, as I liked what I saw there, and it's closer to a real farmer's market than the others. Quote
