Lost: Amundson 6wt Rod/reel With Rio Line On The Bow

Saturday, July 30: While drifting down the Bow about 4 km past Cottonwood I watched my favourite outfit slide over the back of our driftboat. I thought the rod was secure behind me with only a few feet of line in the water as I was on the oars, but not secure enough for a large fish. I watched in vain as my outfit slipped into the water. We marked the spot, went to shore and I pulled out a spin cast outfit with a spoon to try to snag it in the vicinity. No luck. Several passers-by also looked as they drifted by. I'd like to thank them again, but no one could spot it.

 

I believe someone will spot the bright Rio fly line soon and be able to retrieve the works. If you do please keep the fish and PM me. I can describe the outfit in detail and put some $$$ in your wallet. If it's lost for good, I will have an empty rod case for sale.
