In this video, Don ties up a personal chironomid pattern of his, called Don's Gunslinger Chironomid. This versatile fly can be tied on size 8 - 16 hooks, and uses a metallic flashabou for the body. Another element that really sets the fly off is the fabric paint that represents the wing buds. The video above is using a new feature on the site called Apture, and offers related videos from within the site.
