flytyer101 Posted May 23, 2010 Share Posted May 23, 2010 Hi all, I need some help with sink tips . I currently have 2 One is a rio 15 ft sink tip type 3 (3-4 in /s). The other one I have is just some bulk stuff I got from Br troutfitters it feels heavier than the rio one, I originally got it for streams , I think. Im going to a pond tommorow and Im not sure which one I want to use , Iwill be striping a size 10-16. Im also not sure about hw long of a leader i should use, I know if its longer the sink tip will have less effect on the fly.
