I've heard some put incredible humidity into the air and will ruin your carpets with the dampness. And I've heard the ones that vent through the window are the way to go. Anybody have one they think is worth buying? Lynn, I bought one a few years ago from Sears. It's the type that has a vent hose you stick out the window.
