fruinincalgary
I was out Fri night (Apr 30), chucked some streamers with my new rod!!! CDONE custom built me this bad boy, the Amudson 11' "trout spey" and what a job he did Ive been lookin for sometime to find a light switch with a removable butt and no luck. Dave a fishtale put me in touch with CDONE (Thanks Dave) and voila....I got a light switch with the removable butt. Most fish came on the trailing nymph ( #18 evil weevil) did get a few on a # 8 brown leech. Any way...... on to tha porn That last brown taped just over 23".... took me into my backing twice! what a way to break in the new rod. If anybody is lookin' for a custom job his work is nothin' short of fantastic, as you can see. Thanks Colin!

fisher26
Those are some real beauties. What is the advantage of a removable butt? Easier to stow away?
fruinincalgary
Those are some real beauties. What is the advantage of a removable butt? Easier to stow away? I can highstick it if I want. It's not a czech nymphin' rod but..... I'll use it as one from time to time.
fruinincalgary
What line are you using? I currenty have an Airflo 40+ WF7F.... great for the single hand stuff, found out pretty quick it's not a switch line. Gonna try the Beulah Tonic 320 on it.
